The details.

Things we take seriously so you can take them for granted.

Web App

The full product in any modern browser, on any operating system.

Mobile Apps

Native apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android. Not a resized desktop app: designed for the phone, so you can work from anywhere.

Every Device in Sync

One account, everywhere you work. Book the next appointment from your phone at the client's house, and it's on your calendar at your desk, waiting for you.

Free Data Import

Switching from another system? We import and clean up your existing records for free when you join.

You Own Your Data

We believe that your data is your data. Export every bit of it whenever you like. It'll be cleaner than when you brought it.

No Single Point of Failure

Multiple servers and databases run in parallel in multiple locations for redundancy. If one goes down, another picks up immediately, and you keep working.

Security

Your data is encrypted from your screen to the server's disk, in transit and at rest. Our team monitors the systems around the clock.

Privacy

Your client list is your business, not ours. We never sell or share your data, and every member of our team even signs a confidentiality agreement.

Backups

Multiple layers of encrypted backups stored on multiple continents keep your data safe and secure.

Pianos outlive technology. Plan for that.

Pianos are built to serve for generations, and the tools you run your business on should think in decades too. Gazelle has been here for more than ten years, growing through many device iterations, while a long trail of scheduling tools and tuning apps built on obsolete technology quietly went dark and took their users' records with them.

We support your current tech, and we'll support your future tech.

Layers of technology stacked like an archaeological dig: rotary phones and typewriters at the bottom, rising through early computers to today's phones and tablets

Recent updates

We are constantly improving. Each month we publish a summary of what's new. Here's the latest.

  • September 2026

We've improved our integration with Google Calendar! You can now use a 2-way live sync to update your calendars in seconds. Exporting data is now easier as well when you use filters on the main Export page in Settings. A4 is now available for PDF's plus a whole lot more.

    Highlights

    Live two-way Google Calendar sync

Gazelle now pushes appointments, personal events, memos, and reservations to Google Calendar, and edits in Google come back into Gazelle within seconds. You can choose which event types sync, how much detail Google shows, and whether pushed events send reminders. If you were using a calendar feed before, this is the upgrade you’ve been waiting for. Check the link to upgrade your Google Calender sync now.

Export data as one zip file

You can now select several data types, filter each one, and download the result as a single zip file. It’s a much better fit for backups, accounting handoffs, and other times you need more than one CSV at once.

A4 available for invoice and estimate PDF's

A new choice in Company Settings lets you choose between Letter and A4 for your baseline paper size for PDF invoices and estimates.

    Calendar

Fixed: Pending reservations now block time in shared calendars.

If you work with more than one company or share your Gazelle calendar with others through ICS, managing incoming reservations can be a challenge. We've updated the process so pending reservations are also shared so you won’t get double booked across companies while approval is still pending.

Fixed: Changing your timezone in mobile settings now saves correctly.

Picked times no longer shift by an hour in some timezone edge cases.

    Client Management

You can sort a client’s pianos by last tuned, last serviced, age, serial number, or date created, and Gazelle remembers your choice.

Piano pickers now match the client piano list, with the same sort and filter options when you attach a piano to an invoice, estimate, or appointment.

Filter appointments, invoices, and estimates by service with the new Any, All, and None of these services options.

    Texting

We standardized the app’s translations so feature names and concepts stay consistent across screens.

The app now uses Texting more consistently instead of mixing in SMS, text message, and texting.

    Billing

Fixed: Client invoice and estimate pages now show your contact details and a plain explanation when a document is no longer included in your plan.

Fixed: VAT and GST wording now matches across client-facing pages, estimate line items, and the Self-Scheduler settings copy.

Fixed: Pressing Escape or clicking outside a message template editor no longer discards unsaved changes.

Fixed: Invoice item descriptions now open in a full-screen editor, so longer descriptions don’t get cut off.

Fixed: Technician merge codes are back on the cheat sheet for reminders and email templates.

    Company Settings

You can pick Letter or A4 for PDF invoices and estimates in Company Settings.

  • August 2026

Attachments is the headline this month, with photos, video, and audio living together on both pianos and client records (more file types coming soon). Scheduling also got smarter about how it fits your floating downtime into the shape of your day. And a good bit of this month went into the quieter work behind the scenes, so things load and recover more dependably across web and mobile.

    Highlights

Piano Photos are now known as Attachments and now hold photos, video, and audio

The Photos section is now called Attachments, and it holds photos, video, and audio in one place. You can add those files from mobile or drag them into the web app, and play them back without downloading first. We also added client-level Attachments, so you can keep things like access notes, paperwork photos, or a recording with the client instead of tying it to one piano.

Client records can now have Attachments and a primary photo as well

We expanded attachments to client records, and you can also select one photo as the client's primary photo, the same way a piano's primary photo can represent that instrument. Use a picture of the house, or of the client, or whatever jogs your memory of who they are when their name comes up.

    Floating downtime is improved

Floating downtime rules got smarter this month. When Gazelle looks for open times, it now takes your whole day into account before deciding where your break lands, so your breaks and your available times work together more naturally. If you like giving yourself a wide downtime window, you'll see the difference right away.

    Calendar & Scheduling

Fixed: Appointment List view keeps your filters and sort after reloads

Fixed: Firefox drag and resize works on the right day and time

Fixed: The small-phone appointment editor is steadier

“Completed, But Not Tuned” now shows the tuning checkbox clearly

    Messaging

Fixed: Scheduled custom messages can be sent right away

Send a custom message from the client map

    Reliability

Fixed: Invoices recover properly after a dropped connection

Fixed: Connection problems now show an error instead of an endless spinner

Fixed: Toggle switches are easier to see when they’re off

Fixed: The dashboard itinerary is faster for all-technicians views

Fixed: Changing a synced Google Calendar event to recurring no longer leaves a stale copy behind

Fixed: Search no longer spins forever on unreliable network connections

  • July 2026

June has been a month of quiet updates and focused planning. We're excited to see settings for reminders and messages come to mobile, but even more for the behind the scenes work to keep your data secure in the ever changing tech world.

    Highlights

Reminders and Messages Settings Now on Mobile

Reminder and Messages settings now live in the new mobile. The full editor is built in, so you can adjust timing, message templates, and other reminder settings without bouncing out to the web app. This is a big day-to-day workflow change if reminders are part of your workflow.

    Edit your Coordinates!

You can now paste GPS coordinates along with finding the spot on a map. That helps when a client sends lat/long for a rural or off-grid location or you want to use an external map to find them. Works in the web app, mobile app, and online self-scheduler.

    Security

We’ve been making ongoing security updates in the background to keep your data protected.

These changes aren’t the kind you’ll usually see in a monthly update, but they’re part of the work we keep doing to stay current and keep your account data secure.

    Clients

Fixed: The last client in the list no longer gets hidden behind the List view and Map view bar.

Dutch translations for piano types were cleaned up.
