What do you consider an active piano?

An active piano is one you expect to keep servicing, and it's the only kind that counts toward your plan. If you've serviced it in the last three years and hope to see the client again, keep it active. Everything else can be marked inactive, which makes it read-only. The full service history stays put in case that client ever comes back, and it costs you nothing.

Why do you bill based on active pianos?

Because it's the fairest measure we've found of how much you actually use Gazelle. Your active piano count tracks the real size of your books, so the price starts small when you're small and grows only as your client list does.

Can I change my plan after I sign up?

Yes, any time, and that includes both your packages and your active piano count. When you add a package it starts right away and we prorate the charge. When you remove one, it stays through the period you've already paid for and then drops off.

What happens when my free trial ends?

Your plan kicks in and your first payment is processed. We'll email you a few days before it happens, and until then you can change or cancel at no charge.

What are package trials?

Curious about a package you don't have? Turn it on and use it free for 30 days with your real clients and data. If it earns its keep, it rolls into your plan automatically; if not, switch it off before the trial ends and you're never charged.

You say "unlimited technicians": is there actually no per-seat charge?

Correct, there's no per-seat charge and no cap. Whether it's an apprentice, a part-timer, or a subcontractor who takes a few tunings off your plate now and then, you can add them free, and everyone gets their own login, calendar, and access permissions.

What's included in the free data import?

Send us what you've got, whether that's an export from your old tool or a spreadsheet, and our team brings over your clients, pianos, service history, appointments, and estimates, cleaning things up as we go. It's free, and it works even during your trial.

Why is Scheduling & Mapping one package instead of separate features?

The client map, Smart Routes, drive-time estimates, and the self-scheduler all run on the same mapping software, so we charge for them once instead of four times. Use the parts you need today; the rest are already there when you grow into them.

Do you offer discounts for annual billing?

Yes. Pay annually and you get the equivalent of two months free in exchange for a one-year commitment paid up front. You can switch between monthly and annual whenever you like, and anything you've already paid gets prorated and credited toward the new plan.

I'm outside the US: what currency will I be billed in?

You'll be billed in your own currency. We bill in more than 20 of them, assigned automatically by country, and if yours isn't supported yet you're billed in USD. Prices are set regionally too, so you pay a fair local rate that doesn't bounce around with the exchange rate.

How do I cancel?

You can cancel any time from right inside your account. Your plan simply doesn't renew, so you keep full access through the period you've paid for, and you can undo the cancellation any time before it takes effect. Prepaid time isn't refunded, which means annual plans run their year.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

It stays right where you left it, in case you ever come back. You can export every bit of it as CSVs before you go, or any other time, because your data is your data. And if you'd rather we erase it completely, just ask.
